About Me
My Name is Philip Demsey, MEng, MBA, and
I live in Waterloo.

I’m a college instructor with over ten years of experience helping students succeed through tutoring and guidance. I also bring real-world experience as a former Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), with a Master of Engineering from Queen’s University. Currently I’m completing a Certificate in Education to continue growing as a teacher and better support my students.

My goal is to help students build confidence and develop strong skills in Math and Science through clear explanations and supportive instruction. ​

A low-pressure first meeting to understand the student’s goals and challenges, followed by a short sample lesson. (Online, 30 minutes)
Personalized Math or Science support tailored to each student’s learning style and academic needs. (Online or In-Person at the Main Library, One hour)
Structured, course-specific sessions that combine guided instruction with collaborative practice. (Online, 2-6 Students, One hour)
Personalized support tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals, offered in discounted multi-session plans compared to single bookings. (5x or 10x One hour)
